Smoking causes wrinkles!

For those that smoke, or have friends or family members that smoke here is another great reason to quit smoking.

An article published in the November issue of the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery compared 79 pairs of identical twins in which one twin smoked and the other did not.

In those twins that smoked there were significantly greater upper eyelid wrinkles, deeper under eye bags, more wrinkles above and below the lips, and because smoking decreases skin elasticity deeper folds around the nose and greater jowls!

Take a look at the picture. The twin on the left has smoked and has deeper eyelid bags, greater wrinkles around her mouth and much deeper jowls and folds around her mouth.

Another great reason to quit smoking!
